Rabbis Daria and Josh Jacobs-Velde

Rabbis Daria and Josh Jacobs-Velde welcome you to our Jewish home and Shabbat and festival services

Whether you come from a traditional Jewish family or are new to Judaism, you have a place at Oseh Shalom. Our synagogue offers a range of ways to explore spirituality from traditional Friday evening and Shabbat morning services with Torah study, to discussion format services and Jewish chanting and Jewish meditation.

If you love music, you will love the beautiful voices of Rabbi Daria and Centor Caitlin (check out our YouTube channel for a sampling). We also have service that include member musicians, several of whom have recorded professionally. The first Friday of each month is family night.  Services start at 7:30 pm and are preceded by a relaxing community potluck dinner.

Our Friday night services are followed by an Oneg–social time with lots of wonderful desserts and fresh fruit.  Come explore with us and find a place of peace and calmness in the hectic world.  Shabbat is the gift of time. Come and enjoy it. If you are sick, traveling or home, join us via on Zoom.
