Oseh Shalom to Stand with Democracy this Shabbat!

Join your Oseh Shalom community this Saturday to oppose the Trump administration’s anti-democratic actions as part of the Hands Off Mass Mobilization happening all over the country. We’ve all seen the assaults on federal workers, targeting of immigrants and unraveling of many of our basic rights. Now is our chance to join with tens of thousands of people to stand up and make our voices heard.

There are two ways to take part in these protests with Oseh members:

• Join Rabbi Josh at Oseh for a short Shabbat morning service from 10-11 am. We will then travel to the Greenbelt Metro station and from there take the Metro to this demonstration on the Mall. Or, you can meet us at the Greenbelt Metro at 11:30 am. We will be carrying the Oseh banner.
• If you don’t want to go down to the Mall, you can also join this event at Leisure World or this event in Olney. Cantor Caitlin will be at the Olney event. Plan to arrive in Olney by 11:45 pm. If you join one of these Maryland demonstrations, we encourage you to make signs identifying that you are there as a member of Oseh Shalom.
