Hi, my name is Rivka and I am having my Bat Mitzvah on July 27th. I love art, yoga, animals, baking, and traveling. I have a very cool Parsha, The Daughters of Zelophehad, which is about five sisters who showed bravery by speaking up for their rights. These young women united their voices to change the laws of Torah for the rights of all women for generations to come. Their story inspired me to think about ways that girls and women today can use our voices to change laws and conditions to improve and protect our rights.

For my Bat Mitzvah project, I decided to raise funds to support Planned Parenthood, which is a leading provider and advocate of reproductive healthcare and education.
