Hybrid: Shabbat Evening Services with Cantor Chessna

Join Oseh, in person if possible or on Zoom, for a spiritual, musical service this Friday. Tonight our first candidate for Oseh Cantor, Cantor Zoe Chessna, is coming to a Friday night Erev Shabbat Service on May 8^th and a Saturday morning Torah Service on May 9^th.

Cantor Chessna is a first-year student at the ALEPH Institute Cantor Track program and has a master’s degree in Historical Performance in Voice from the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. She is currently working as a Tefillah and Sunday School teacher at a local Synagogue where she is also a Youth Group Coordinator and a lay service leader.

Additionally, we will welcome Laurel Mayor Keith Sydnor to our services. He’s interested in getting to know our community and will stay to talk with the community during the oneg. Please welcome Mayor Sydnor on May 8.
