Join us for a spiritual, musical service. We’ll have a guest speaker, Imam Mohamad Bashar Arafat, who will speak during services on lessons from the Stories of Jacob in the Qur’an and Torah for Muslims and Jews in the 21st Century. The conversation will continue at the 2nd Friday Oneg group after services.

Born and raised in Damascus, Syria, Imam Bashar received a degree in Islamic Studies from Damascus University and and served as Imam in Damascus. Since moving to Baltimore in 1989, he has been heavily involved with interfaith work, and is currently the President and Founder of the Civilizations Exchange and Cooperation Foundation (www.cecf-net.org).
