FOCUS GROUPS FORMING FOR SACRED GROUNDS PROJECT
Do you love living near or accessing the Patuxent River or other local waterways? Do you ever wonder what you can do to help protect our local environment? What do you think Judaism has to do with caring for nature? As a member of Oseh Shalom, your views are important to us.
Our congregation has joined Sacred Grounds MD, a National Wildlife Federation facilitated program that educates faith communities about the importance of and how to care for our local water ways and environment by planting native plants. We are working in cooperation with several other congregations in our area.
Before we begin, we need to get a better understanding of our members. We have questions about how you relate to the Patuxent River, how you make decisions about caring for your yard, and how you think our congregation can best inspire your participation.
You are invited to join a focus group to share your views on these questions. Each of 3 focus groups (It will repeat one more time, via Zoom; 10/28, 7:30 pm-8:45pm) will be limited to 8 people. This confidential conversation will be held online and facilitated by a consultant. Gardening experience is not required.
