Non-violent Communication B4C

We welcome Molly Jacobs to Oseh Shalom as she offers the drash this Friday evening, connecting the parasha (Yitro/Jethro) with simple tools that we each have at our disposal that can help create calm and order during these stressful times.  She will stay on after services for some time to “practice” and experience the skills she will be sharing that are so relevant for these times.

Molly Jacobs has been a teacher in the Boston Public Schools since 2005 where she currently teaches Mindfulness to Kindergarten to 8th Graders and an ESL class for Middle Schoolers.  She has been a member of Congregation Agudas Achim since 2012 as well as the Managing Director of Education for the synagogue this past year.  Through her work as both a Mindfulness teacher and an educator, she has studied the work of Marshall Rosenberg’s Non-Violent Communication (NVC) system.
