Join us kayaking on May 29th (rain date May 30th) as we paddle the quiet waters of the Patuxent River with the fun guides at Terrapin Adventures. They will teach you how to get in/out of your kayak, paddling basics and hopefully see some great wildlife. Time on the water is 2 hours. Afterwards, enjoy a picnic with our group in the shade with your own lunch.
We will leave from Scotts Cove in Laurel and there will be one tour at 9:30am (tour subject to minimum of needing 6 people to go). Arrival times is 9:15am.
We can take up to 13 people at each time slot.
For ages ten and up as each person has their own kayak (no tandems available).
A kayak, life jacket, paddle, snack, water & instruction is provided. Participants are asked to wear water shoes as you will get wet up to your calves, bring a towel, sun screen, sunglasses and a hat if you like.
You will also have to complete the Terrapin Adventures consent/waiver form (link included in confirmation email).
