Rising Song Shabbat
Rising Song Shabbat is a unique approach to Jewish communal singing, popularized by well-known musician/singer Joey Weisenberg. It is characterized by fewer words and deep listening to each other’s voices.
We will sing together from 10-11, and then engage in Torah study from about 11-noon, finishing with mourner’s kaddish.
This is the last Saturday morning, Nigun Curcle & Torah study/ Rising Song Shabbat that is currently scheduled. Friday, April 17 is the last Friday evening Rising Song Shabbat that is currently scheduled. It will include a catered meal. Registration link forthcoming.
If you would like recordings of the niggunim that we will sing, please email Rabbi Josh: rabbi.josh18@gmail.com.
