Hebrew Reading Level 2 (library)

November 17, 2019
9:30 am - 11:30 am

Beginner Hebrew Reading Crash Course Level 2 with Eileen Hollander, Sundays, October 27, November 3, 10, 17, December 8, 15 9:30 – 11:00 am

Do you want to improve your Hebrew so you can feel more comfortable and follow Shabbat services better?  If you are rusty in Hebrew or you completed the Level 1 class last year, this course could be for you. Long time (and very patient) Oseh member Eileen Hollander will be teaching this five-week series.

The goals of the Level 2 course are to improve students’ reading skills and to expand comprehension. The course expands your Hebrew using Shabbat prayer book vocabulary.  Students who enroll should be able to recognize all the Hebrew letters and vowel sounds and (very slowly…!) pronounce Hebrew words.  If you’re not sure whether this course can meet your needs, come to the first class which will be a refresher to brush up on letter and vowel recognition skills.  No registration is required for this free course.

For questions, contact Eileen Hollander at ceholl5@comcast.net or Judy Katz at judy.katz3@verizon.net.  Sponsored by the Lifelong Learning Committee.
