Constructive Conversations about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

December 16, 2024
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Judaism teaches that dialogue is a sacred activity. Yet talking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is particularly fraught and divisive these days. Using the supportive structure of the Public Conversations Project, we will speak and listen in ways that foster greater understanding and insight, and bring us together as a community. This facilitated small-group conversation will make space for everyone to share their perspectives, regardless of where we find ourselves on this challenging topic. Because this is a highly structured process, we will begin promptly at 7 pm. Please arrive by 6:45 pm to settle in.

Registration is required by Saturday, 12/14 so that we can be sure to have enough facilitators. Note: We chose this date specifically because it follows a Reconstructing Judaism virtual “convening” on the values that shape our relationship to Israel.

Registration for this event.
