Hybrid: Shabbat Morning Services

On Saturday morning,  Esther Goldenberg returns (see Friday Shabbat listng). She’ll chant a brief section of the Torah, and then lead the congregation in bibliodrama and read a related excerpt from the novel.  Her new book, The Scrolls of Deborah, is Biblical fiction about the life of Deborah, Rebekah’s nursemaid, who is mentioned only one time in the Torah — in this week’s parasha. We will also have our usual intimate Shabbat morning service. Guests are always encouraged and welcome. Service starts at 10 am with Torah Study about 11 am.
