Oseh Shalom

“Is Peace Possible?” A Workshop for Facilitated Dialogue

November 20, 2025
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

LATE BREAKING SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY! We have the unique opportunity for Jewish and Palestinian facilitators from Interact (iinteract.org) to lead a special, in-person workshop for Oseh Shalom and the greater Jewish community.  We will strive to help strengthen the relationships that division has strained during this time, as we practice compassionate dialogue and build hope.

The Challenge We Face: Jewish communities across the United States are challenged in addressing the protracted situation in Israel-Palestine in meaningful ways. Our communities are sometimes fractured, divided internally, or isolated in echo chambers. Relationships are strained by fear and opposing views. The polarization is alienating people from their communities, and stifling dialogue and hope. The Opportunity: We are NOT here to convince others or build consensus. We ARE here to develop the necessary tools and support system to continue to do the difficult thing of meeting across divides and fostering connection in the face of division.

The Team Interact’s experienced facilitators understand Jewish community dynamics and create safe containers for exploring complex emotions and viewpoints. Practicing across a broad geographic scope, they are trained in different methods of dialogue facilitation and therapeutic communication such as Non- Violent Communication and Internal Family Systems. FREE EVENT: We are able to offer this program as a no-cost workshop thanks to a generous anonymous donor to Interact (www.iinteract.org).

*6:00-6:30. Hors d’oeuvres will be served *6:30-9:00 Workshop

Space is limited so please register by Wednesday evening, November 19.
